It’s never too early to jump-start your interest in healthcare careers. Our middle school programs provide exposure to health careers and information to set you on the right academic path.
Each program is listed by current grade level eligibility. Academic year programs have applications in the fall, and summer programs take applications in the spring. Find a program for you and apply today!

HCQ provides middle school students with early exposure to health care careers in the form of a one-day field trip. Participants travel through VCU’s Health Campus for two and a half hours to learn about health care careers from professionals and engage in hands-on activities. |

Open to sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students who are interested in exploring pharmacy as a health career. Pharmacy Explorers is a five-day, half-day summer program where participants perform hands-on activities and tour the VCU Health Campus.
