Pharmacy Explorers

Eligibility requirements

Students who will complete grades six, seven or eight in Spring 2025 who are interested in exploring a career in pharmacy. Students must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Program description

VCU Pharmacy Explorers is a half-day, week-long camp where students explore the wonderful world of pharmacy. Participants learn about the role of a pharmacist, explore various career pathways in pharmacy, and interact with Pharm.D. students and pharmacists, all while having loads of fun!

Commitment to full attendance is required to participate.

Applications will be reviewed to determine an applicant's interest in and commitment to a
career in health care. Interest in pharmacy is preferred. Fifteen students will be chosen based on their perceived interest in a pharmacy career. `

Cost

There is no cost to participate in this program.
