OT Academy is open to sophomore, junior, and senior college students interested in the field of Occupational Therapy.
Program description
OT Academy is a pathway program drawing participants from underrepresented minority (URM) populations designed to promote knowledge and understanding of the profession of occupational therapy (OT) while preparing for application to OT programs. Through engagement in presentations, discussions, and hands-on opportunities, participants will gain skills required to be a competitive applicant, and a successful and professional student in a rigorous graduate program.
Lunch is provided on session days. A modest stipend is provided.

Location
College of Health Professions (900 E. Leigh Street, Richmond, VA 23298) off campus activities to take place during curricular community outings and social events (transportation will be provided for these activities).

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the VCU P.A.T.H.S. staff and partnering faculty will continue to follow the healthcare guidelines mandated by VCU in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia as we plan ahead for our 2023 summer programs.
