I’m from a backwoods town called Abingdon, near the border of Tennessee, so Richmond has been a pretty jarring experience. That said, I’m feeling pretty comfortable here now since I’ve acclimated to the city and made friends!

I like to think that I meal-prep or workout whenever I have free time, but I usually play video games until I feel guilty for not studying… but I do like to cook and I workout at least 3 times a week! I’m also into computers and electronics, and I play D&D at every opportunity. Feel free to chat with me about any of those things!

I chose to be an SCIE ambassador because I feel that this position would enable me to make changes that benefit my peers and future students. I haven’t noticed a glaring issue yet, but I’m ready to give my input on suggestions made by other ambassadors, and I will suggest my own changes as they come up.
