Roy F. Roach III
Director
Roy F. Roach III was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Hampton, Virginia. As a military dependent, he spent time in Japan before moving to North Dakota. In North Dakota, he completed his bachelor’s in communication and a minor in Chinese studies. After discovering his passion for higher education, he was selected for the Ronald E. McNair Scholarship and completed his graduate degree in higher education. He is passionate about education and entrepreneurship as vehicles for social and global change.
Brooke Tisdale
Brooke Tisdale serves as the Marketing and Program Coordinator for the Office of Student Engagement on VCU’s MCV Campus. In this role, Brooke leads marketing and communication efforts while supporting the development and promotion of programs that enhance student engagement, leadership, and community across the health sciences. She holds a B.S. in Marketing and an M.S. in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University, bringing a strong background in branding, strategic communication, and program coordination. Outside of her work at VCU, Brooke is an entrepreneur with a passion for creative strategy, community building, and innovative engagement.
